What a lovely scene of children playing on the streets that reminds us of our childhood! It is painted by the late humorist  Haitian master Alix Roy, who was born in 1930 in Port-au-Prince and died in 2010. Roy studied at the Art Students' League. He was a master painter from the Centre d'Art. "A humorist, illustrator and painter, Roy observed the world of adults with irony and through children's eyes" ( by Gerald Alexis)
